Glenn Miller Swing Fest

June 23-26, 2011

The Glenn Miller Swing Fest comes to Fort Morgan the last weekend in June.  Begin your Glenn Miller weekend with Thursday’s Live @ the Park, move your feet to the sounds of Company B on Friday and Saturday begins with pancakes, music and aircraft at the airport and continues all day in City Park and winds up with the swinging sounds of the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra with the Pied Pipers.  Sunday is the Little Brown Jug 5K and a Champagne Brunch at the Country Steak Out.   The complete schedule is here.  For tickets click here.

The Colorado Meth Project promotes awareness of the dangers of trying meth – even once.  They will have presentations in Morgan County schools and a number of activities to engage the students in learning about the dangers posed by meth.  Talk to your kids!!!
